Board Trip to Palestine and IsraelIn April members of Creativity for Peace’s board of directors and major supporters traveled to Palestine and Israel to meet with a diverse group of NGOs, government leaders, and individuals to learn their perspectives on the conflict and possibilities for peace. The trip was organized by Mejdi Tours and led by an Israeli and a Palestine guide.
Women Building Politics of Peace
The first in a series of trainings for Israeli and Palestinian women in the early stages of political careers took place in the spring in Nazareth. This pilot project Is supported by USAID.
In 2016 six young women from New Mexico are training to speak with peers about Creativity for Peace and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to support summer activities. Professionals, such as public speaking coach Maria Cruz pictured here, lead workshops for these American teens.
Action for Conflict Transformation (ACT!)
One of a series of leadership and peacemaking trainings for Young Leaders.
In November, young actors created a theatrical production based on the writing of Creativity for Peace’s young women from Palestine and Israel. The play was performed at Warehouse 21, the teen arts center in Santa Fe.

Summer Camp 2015
Sixteen young Israeli and Palestinian women participate in a three-week peacemaking intensive in New Mexico.
A celebration of Middle Eastern food, music, and dance with 400 guests and 20 young women from Israel and Palestine.
Cooking for Peace
Chef Jean-Luc Salles leads a cooking class in French bistro cuisine to raise funds for Creativity for Peace.
